McDonough proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 13) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Eagle's Landing Eagles 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 25-12 last Wednesday.

McDonough saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Lee, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Lee is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another was Macanatty Woodside, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

McDonough now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Eagle's Landing, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

McDonough wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 17-0 defeat against Stockbridge on the 11th. As for Eagle's Landing, they have also already played their next game, a 20-2 loss against Ola on the 10th.
