Basketball Recap: Destiny Finley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead San Lorenzo over Hayward

San Lorenzo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Hayward Farmers didn't end well, with the San Lorenzo Grizzlies falling 48-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Farmers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-38 back in January.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Destiny Finley, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Izzy Bolanos, who put up nine points.

San Lorenzo's record now sits at 1-16. As for Hayward, their win bumped their record up to 6-18.

San Lorenzo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-35 victory against Arroyo on the 14th. As for Hayward, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 42-36 loss against Mt. Eden on the 13th.
