Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

If Kennedy was feeling good fresh off their 20-7 takedown of Lincoln on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Commanders fell just short of the Battle Mountain Huskies by a score of 13-12 on Saturday.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Battle Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Kennedy will take on Jefferson Academy in a tournament on Saturday. The Commanders are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Battle Mountain, they will face off against Varsity Opponent at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
