Softball Recap: Ponca Has No Trouble Against Bryan

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Platteview, Ponca was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Bryan Bears with a sharp 7-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won four in a row.

Ponca saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cora Jackson, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Rylee Luesebrink also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Ponca's record is now 3-9. As for Bryan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Ponca wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Highway 91 on the 8th. As for Bryan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Omaha Central on the 8th.
