Johnston hasn't had much luck against Classical recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Purple at 6:00 p.m. Johnston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.9 points per game this season.

Johnston is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past North Providence with points to spare, taking the game 28-14.

Yadier Grullon had an outrageously good game as he picked up 122 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 52 yards. Ethan Archambeault was another key player, throwing for 131 yards and two TDs.

Meanwhile, Classical strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Chariho 41-0. The Purple might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

One reason for the win was Classical's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jerea Brown and Robert Tanenbaum, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Johnston's record now sits at 8-2. As for Classical, their record is now 9-0.

Johnston ended up a good deal behind Classical when the teams last played last Saturday, losing 35-21. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
