Classical Purple (Providence, RI) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 42-7 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Purple play the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 25. Classical will attempt to improve on its 10-0 season record. The Kilties go into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 29-13 non-league win over Rogers (Newport, RI).

The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Scituate was routed by Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 27-7, in a non-league test.
