The Johnston Panthers walloped the visiting Pilgrim Patriots football team by a score of 43-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Classical Purple (Providence, RI) in a Division III challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Johnston will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Purple come into the test with a 7-0 record after their 35-15 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).

With the defeat, Pilgrim drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI) to meet the Chieftains in a Division III test on Thursday, October 30. The Chieftains come into the test with a record of 6-1. Ponaganset lost 35-15 in their recent league challenge against Classical (Providence, RI)
