Basketball Recap: Parowan Starts Season with Win on the Road

Parowan had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs 49-47. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landry Edwards, who posted 14 points. Kyle Keith was another key player, putting up nine points.

Gunnison Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parowan will square off against South Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gunnison Valley, they will take on North Sanpete at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
