Volleyball Recap: Walden Grove Takes a Loss

Walden Grove lost against Sunnyside back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Walden Grove Red Wolves fell 3-1 to the Sunnyside Blue Devils. The Red Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 25-13.

Sunnyside was led to victory by Brayan Rodriguez and Luciano Fernandez. Rodriguez had 13 digs and two aces, while Fernandez had eight digs and one block.

Walden Grove now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sunnyside, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Walden Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Amphitheater on the 11th. As for Sunnyside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Camelback on the 18th.
