Football Recap: Triplains/Brewster Titans vs. Ingalls Bulldogs
Triplains/Brewster unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Ingalls Bulldogs. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.
Keegan Nothern was a one-man wrecking crew For Ingalls. as he picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 62 yards and one score on only eight carries. Nothern showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was Logan Simon, who threw for 121 yards and a pair of TDs.
Triplains/Brewster will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kansas School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Ingalls, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 52-0 win against Golden Plains on the 12th.
