Soccer Game Preview: Brookstone vs. St. Anne-Pacelli

Brookstone hasn't had much luck against St. Anne-Pacelli recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Brookstone will look to defend their home pitch against St. Anne-Pacelli at 7:30 p.m. St. Anne-Pacelli took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brookstone, who comes in off a win.

Brookstone took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Calvary Christian. The win was all the more spectacular given Brookstone's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Calvary Christian are ranked 105th).

Brookstone hit Calvary Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from EJ Suragh (2), Francis Osei-Antwi, and Jimmy Hunter.

Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli might've scored the first goal on Tuesday, but it was Calvary Christian who claimed the real prize. St. Anne-Pacelli fell just short of Calvary Christian by a score of 3-2.

St. Anne-Pacelli's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Brookstone, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Brookstone might still be hurting after the 9-1 loss they got from St. Anne-Pacelli when the teams last played back in March of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Brookstone was down 4-1.
