Basketball Recap: West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 6-17. They took a blow against the Lodi Flames, falling 59-26. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 879th, while the Flames are ranked 235th).

As for Lodi, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Lodi found their leader in freshman Marielle Caluya, who made all 7 shots she took racking up 17 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Caluya has scored all season. Charlee LaCroix was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to nine boards and three steals.
