Soccer Game Preview: Union Mine vs. Rosemont

Union Mine is 1-9 against Rosemont since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Union Mine Diamondbacks are taking a road trip to challenge the Rosemont Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. Union Mine's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, neither Union Mine nor Bradshaw Christian could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, on WednesdayAmador kept up with Rosemont until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Rosemont blew past Amador 4-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Rosemont pushed their record up to 11-7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. Union Mine's draw gives them a new season record of 4-5-4.

Union Mine came up short against Rosemont in their previous matchup on January 8th, falling 2-0. Can Union Mine avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
