Basketball Recap: Hawthorne Comes Up Short

Hawthorne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 55-15 loss at the hands of the Beverly Hills Normans. The Cougars were probably out for revenge after losing 38-6 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hawthorne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Beverly Hills, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-8.

Hawthorne has already played their next game (against Inglewood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Beverly Hills will square off against Panorama at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
