Soccer Game Preview: High Tech Mesa vs. Liberty Charter

The High Tech Mesa Thunder will challenge the Liberty Charter Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. High Tech Mesa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, High Tech Mesa came up short against Castle Park and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Thunder have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Liberty Charter was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and Gompers Prep Academy finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Liberty Charter's goal came courtesy of Ava Lansford, who's now up to five this season.

With that draw, Liberty Charter's record moves to 4-3-2. As for High Tech Mesa, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
