Basketball Recap: Allison Hall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Great Commission over Dubois Christian

On Friday, the Great Commission Bears were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-27 to DuBois Christian. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Great Commission's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allison Hall, who posted seven points along with five boards and four steals. Hall is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ava Bordack was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Great Commission's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for DuBois Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Blair County Christian the next time they take the court. Great Commission will host Blair County Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while DuBois Christian will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th.
