Football Recap: Ramah Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Navajo Pine last Friday, Ramah came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 20-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alamo Navajo Cougars on Friday. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 27-6 to the Cougars when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alamo Navajo was led to victory by Cobre Mexicano and Scotty Guerro. Mexicano rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only eight carries, while Guerro threw for 167 yards and one touchdown. What's more, Mexicano racked up 23 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Ramah's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Alamo Navajo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Ramah will head out to take on Mescalero Apache at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Alamo Navajo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
