Softball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

King's Ridge Christian hadn't done well against Mount Vernon recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 8-5. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 12-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kate Greiner and Katie Washer did most of the damage at the plate: Greiner went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Washer went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Washer has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Emmie Fratesi, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
