Basketball Recap: Riverside Skates Past Shenango with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when Riverside challenged Shenango on Friday. The Riverside Panthers claimed a resounding 46-12 win over the Shenango Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted against the Wildcats since December 8, 2017.

Riverside has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Shenango, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Riverside will head out to square off against Quaker Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shenango, they and Ellwood City will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
