Softball Recap: Walton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Marietta on Tuesday, Walton came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Kell Longhorns by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Kell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walton will take on Etowah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Kell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
