Softball Recap: Blair Has No Trouble Against Bennington

Blair won the last time they faced Bennington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Badgers with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Bears have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Regan Blattert was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was London Larsen, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Blair always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bennington only posted an OBP of .381.

Blair's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 23-8. As for Bennington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Blair does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bennington, they will host Waverly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Badgers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
