Soccer Recap: Anzar Has No Trouble Against York

Anzar kept a clean sheet against York on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the York Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 on January 9th.

Jocelynne Reynoso and Bella Briceno scored all three of Anzar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Anzar is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four contests. As for York, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Anzar and York will both be playing St. Francis the next time they take the pitch. Anzar will head out to face St. Francis at 3:30 p.m. on February 6th, while York will host them at 3:30 p.m. on February 12th.
