Softball Recap: Sapulpa Comes Up Short

Glenpool hit Sapulpa with a seven-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Chieftains came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Sapulpa and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Glenpool, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Sapulpa will venture away from home to face off against Catoosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenpool, they will challenge Fort Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
