Football Game Preview: Jefferson Cavaliers vs. Harrisburg Tigers

The Jefferson Cavaliers will square off against the Harrisburg Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jefferson was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Stevens on Friday. The Cavaliers took their game with ease, bagging a 58-0 win over the Raiders. The Cavaliers have beaten the Raiders the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Raiders has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, while Harrisburg put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Roosevelt. The Tigers really took it to the Rough Riders for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-0 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Rough Riders are ranked 49th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harrisburg's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
