Preview: Bradshaw Christian vs. Ripon Christian
The Bradshaw Christian The Pride will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Ripon Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bradshaw Christian walked away with it. They never let the Falcons onto the board and left with a 8-0 victory on Saturday. Ysella Lopez was a massive factor in the win, as she booted in three goals all by herself.
Meanwhile, Ripon Christian put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against Esparto as Ripon Christian made off with a 5-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Ripon Christian sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Bradshaw Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-12-3. As for Ripon Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2-2 record this season.
Bradshaw Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Ripon Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, winning 3-1. Will Bradshaw Christian repeat their success, or does Ripon Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
