Soccer Recap: Valley Triumphs

Valley kept a clean sheet against Armijo on Tuesday. They beat the Armijo Royals by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Vikings were the better team in the second half.

Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. As for Armijo, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will head out to take on West Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Armijo, they will head out on the road to face off against Florin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Armijo is facing Florin at the right time seeing as Florin is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
