Football Game Preview: Hillcrest Patriots vs. Prattville Lions + How To Watch

The Hillcrest Patriots will take on the Prattville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillcrest has given up an average of 29 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hillcrest is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Thompson, who was ranked second at the time (Hillcrest was ranked 13th). The Patriots were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 56-10. Having soared to a lofty 67 points in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prattville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 victory over Hewitt-Trussville on Friday.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Prattville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything went Hillcrest's way against Prattville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Hillcrest made off with a 53-28 win. In that matchup, the Patriots amassed a halftime lead of 29-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
