Football Recap: Gaithersburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gaithersburg lost against Northwest back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans had to suffer through a 37-7 loss at the hands of the Jaguars. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-0.

Northwest got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Warren Jackson out in front who picked up 96 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 96 receiving yards gave Jackson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Vongprachanh-Nelson, who threw for 60 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes.

Gaithersburg now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northwest, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Gaithersburg has already played their next matchup, a 51-7 defeat against Churchill on the 9th. As for Northwest, they are taking a road trip to face off against Seneca Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
