Softball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-5 to the Harrison Hoyas, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 11-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Harrison, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will take on Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison, they will face off against Pope at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
