Basketball Game Preview: San Ysidro Cougars vs. Santa Fe Christian Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the San Ysidro Cougars will jump right back in to play the Santa Fe Christian Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. San Ysidro will be strutting in after a win while Santa Fe Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 30 defeats in a row dating back to last season, San Ysidro turned things around against Bayfront Charter on Thursday. They managed a 40-35 victory over the Sharks. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 59-49 to Granite Hills.

Santa Fe Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for San Ysidro, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
