Football Recap: Kingman Comes Up Short

After soaring to 37 points the game before, Kingman was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Haven Wildcats. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Kingman still got an impressive performance from Gabriel Andersen, who rushed for 209 yards while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 50 receiving yards. Andersen is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 0-5 when he doesn't).

Kingman's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Haven, their record is now 6-2.

While Kingman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
