Baseball Recap: Winnebago Takes a Loss

Winnebago suffered their closest loss since April 25th on Monday. They fell just short of the Rockford Christian Royals by a score of 5-3. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Winnebago and nudges their season record down to 15-10. As for Rockford Christian, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Coming up, Winnebago will host Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford Christian, they will take on Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
