Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Decatur put the hurt on Tri-Cities with a sharp 5-1 victory. Decatur might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Tri-Cities from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Decatur's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five matchups. As for Tri-Cities, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Decatur and Tri-Cities will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the pitch they'll take on St. Pius X Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on the 14th. As for Tri-Cities, their break will end when they face McEachern at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th.
