Soccer Game Preview: Everett Alvarez vs. Hollister

The Everett Alvarez Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Hollister Haybalers at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Everett Alvarez is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Everett Alvarez is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Monterey on Thursday. They fell just short of the Dores by a score of 2-1.

Everett Alvarez's goal came courtesy of Jennifer Montes, who's now up to 12 this season.

Meanwhile, Hollister came up short against Salinas on Wednesday, falling 6-2. The Haybalers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Hollister has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Everett Alvarez, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10.
