Dublin heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They lost 16-6 to Worth County. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Irish have lost by exactly ten runs.

CJ Stubbs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jeff Davis, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Worth County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-9. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games.
