Basketball Game Preview: Valley View Eagles vs. Ramona Rams

Having just played yesterday, the Valley View Eagles will jump right back in to play the Ramona Rams at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Valley View picked up another tournament win on Monday. They walked away with a 48-37 win over Elsinore. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ramona, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed past Vista del Lago to the tune of 55-14 on Monday. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Ramona's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Valley View, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Valley View beat Ramona 52-45 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
