Soccer Game Preview: Colusa vs. Winters

Colusa hasn't had much luck against Winters recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The RedHawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. Colusa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Colusa earned a 3-1 win over Willows.

The RedHawks hit the Honkers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Itzel Cruz, Janell Garcia, and Natalee Stegall.

Meanwhile, Winters came up short against Cosumnes Oaks on Wednesday and fell 5-3. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Winters came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Cosumnes Oaks are ranked 670th).

Colusa's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Winters, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
