Rio Rancho faced Volcano Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rams walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks. That's two games straight that Rio Rancho have won by exactly two goals.

Tanner Groves and Lucas Gutierrez scored all three of Rio Rancho's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.
