Windsor faced Springfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Yellowjackets took a 20-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cosmos. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Yellowjackets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Windsor now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Springfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor will face off against Mt. Abraham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Springfield, they will head out to square off against Bellows Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
