Preview: Issaquah Eagles vs. Eastlake Wolves
Issaquah is 2-8 against Eastlake since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Issaquah Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Eastlake Wolves at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Issaquah strolled past Redmond with points to spare, taking the game 58-40.
Meanwhile, Eastlake had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 49-44 win over North Creek on Friday.
Issaquah now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Eastlake, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
Things could have been worse for Issaquah, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to Eastlake in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Issaquah avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
