Softball Recap: Henryetta Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Henryetta proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Pittsburg Panthers 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since August 17, 2024.

The win (which was Henryetta's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.0 runs this season. As for Pittsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henryetta will head out to face off against Kellyville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pittsburg, they will venture away from home to square off against Mason at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
