Basketball Game Preview: GRACE Christian Eagles vs. Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy Stars

The GRACE Christian Eagles will challenge the Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy Stars at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. GRACE Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 219 points over their last three games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. GRACE Christian fell 68-60 to Fayetteville Academy.

Despite the loss, GRACE Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gradyn West went 9-for-17 to rack up 20 points and six boards. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for West. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Phillips, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Laney.

Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for GRACE Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
