Softball Recap: Creekview Falls Short Against Ranked Buford

Creekview faced Buford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Grizzlies took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. If the Grizzlies were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Wolves when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Creekview's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Buford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

Creekview has already played their next matchup (against North Cobb), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Buford, they will venture away from home to square off against Cambridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
