Soccer Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Milton-Union Bulldogs. Sidney were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Milton-Union apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Milton-Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

Sidney will take on Tippecanoe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sidney's defense better be ready for this one: Tippecanoe have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season. As for Milton-Union, they will face off against Brookville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton-Union will need to watch out since Brookville have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
