Recap: St. Paul Swordsmen vs. La Salle Lancers
The St. Paul Swordsmen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to La Salle 48-44. St. Paul has struggled against La Salle recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
La Salle was led to victory by Casey Higgins and Audrey Chen. Higgins scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Chen scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Erica Fan was another key contributor, scoring five points.
St. Paul's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-14. As for La Salle, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul will take on Bishop Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Montgomery will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for La Salle, they will stay at home for another game and welcome South Pasadena at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th.
