Softball Game Preview: East Forsyth Broncos vs. Eastside Eagles

The East Forsyth Broncos will venture away from home to square off against the Eastside Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

East Forsyth will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Cedar Shoals on Tuesday. The Broncos put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 14-0 victory. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Eastside's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against North Oconee. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 8th.

The win got East Forsyth back to even at 11-11. As for Eastside, their victory bumped their record up to 20-0.

East Forsyth came up short against Eastside in their previous matchup back in September, falling 8-5. Can the Broncos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
