Clayton extended their winning streak to seven on Monday, bumping them up to 7-1. They blew past the McCluer North Stars 19-7. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

As for McCluer North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-3 record this season. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For McCluer North's part, Mariya Boaze and Amya Adams stepped up to the plate in a big way.
