Softball Game Preview: Logan-Rogersville Wildcats vs. New Covenant Academy Warriors

The Logan-Rogersville Wildcats will face off against the New Covenant Academy Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Logan-Rogersville came up short against Marshfield and fell 6-3. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bluejays: they've now lost five in a row.

Logan-Rogersville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Filak, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Filak has hit this season.

New Covenant Academy came out on top against Stoutland on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Warriors blew past the Tigers 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

New Covenant Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Logan-Rogersville, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
