Basketball Game Preview: Arroyo Grande Eagles vs. St. Joseph Knights

The Arroyo Grande Eagles will head out to square off against the St. Joseph Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Arroyo Grande ended up a good deal behind Immanuel and lost 45-30. The contest marked Arroyo Grande's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph entered their tilt with Mission College Prep on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Royals 61-36. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 25 points or more this season.

St. Joseph's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Arroyo Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Arroyo Grande lost to St. Joseph on the road by a decisive 51-33 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Arroyo Grande avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
