Soccer Recap: Yuba City Takes a Loss

Yuba City lost against Twelve Bridges on January 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yuba City Honkers lost 11-0 to the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos. While losing is never fun, the Honkers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 700th, while the Raging Rhinos are ranked 85th).

Yuba City's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Twelve Bridges, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1.

Yuba City will face off against River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yuba City is facing River Valley at the right time seeing as River Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Twelve Bridges, they will take on Nevada Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
